Located south of the Navy Pier, near the Shedd Aquarium, is the Adler Planetarium. The grounds offer several green spaces and a concrete break wall to hang out at and watch fireworks. Because of its location at the very edge of the museum campus, the planetarium offers unobstructed views of the lake and the downtown skyline.
